TO SEEK SOLUTIONS TO EACH INDIVIDUAL'S ROOT PROBLEMS OF HOMELESSNESS SO THEY MAY ACHIEVE SUCCESSFUL INDEPENDENT LIVING.
O U R M I S S I O N
We are a faith based, 501c3, non-profit organization working to establish Transitional Housing in El Dorado KS for those in need in Butler County.
Our plan is to provide temporary housing, meals, and assistance on finding resources to help displaced men, women, and children find housing, work, food, and living skills.
The issue of homelessness in Butler County Kansas is far greater than many know. During the 16-17 winter season, the Community Cold Weather Shelter served 51 unduplicated individuals. The most rapidly increasing group is homeless families with children who are employed but unable to afford housing. Our programs can provide hope, support, and resources, helping them become more productive, valued members of the community
This is a community issue, not just an individual’s problem. When our homeless citizens feel hopeless and forgotten, it sometimes leads to addiction and criminal activity. Our plan is to provide shelter, meals, resources, and hope for displaced men, women, and children.
